Personal And Career Growth Over The Next Five Years

1. Just as organizations are going to be forced to learn, change, and constantly reinvent themselves in the twenty-first century, so will increasing number of individuals (p.190). Have you reinvented yourself in your career thus far? What reinvention do you foresee as necessary to your personal and career growth over the next five years? â€Å"Learning is a Life Long Journey† there is always room to improve oneself both mentally and physically. Risk Taking: I have taken many risks, but through numerous disappointments and doors being closed in my face and do to the color of my skin, I have been met with many obstacles. It has been a challenge to walk to the edge of cliff and take the next step. I believe and have faith, but I honestly like the comfort zone of approval known as the safe place. In regard to accomplishments, I have been able to touch a lot of youth and their family lives in a positive manner through community partnerships that I have made. Positive reinforcement goes a long way especially in the youth of today’s life. Humble Self –reflection: I’ve always try to stay humble and modest, I was raised that you should never get to big for those britches. Through my experiences I have always reflected on the good times because of the happiness it brings when you’re feeling down are lacking confidence. I have been able to serve numerous families and achieve many business goals. I believe there is a lot for me to do and want to accomplish the personal task to leave a lasting legacy.
